SOBRE A ARTISTA //

Isabel Cordovil, 1994, lives between Lisbon and Geneva where she completed her master’s degree in Visual Arts at the Haute Ecole d’Art et Design. She began her practice by showing her films at festivals such as BFI Flare London, Doclisboa and Queer Lisboa, and as a member of the collective Rabbit Hole, regularly present at Galeria Zé dos Bois.

In her last solo project, in Geneva, she started her experimental approach born from a concern with the presence and weight of language in the commonplace, in the daily situation, and, at the same time, its permanent malleability and different effects on exploration of a shared performative action.
